Upward Basketball
Last year we started an Upward Basketball program at our church for grades 1-4. We had a great time getting to know the kids and getting to not only teach them basketball, but tell them about Jesus too. They had a memory verse to learn every week and a short devotion every week at practice too. We also had some cool activities at half-times on game days. For our closing awards program we enjoyed an excellent juggling act by "Juggler for Jesus" David Cain.
Upward basketball is designed to teach foundational fundamentals of the game that will prepare players for the next level of play. Through well developed practices, take-home drills and healthy competition on game day, athletes will develop skills on both offense and defense. Upward basketball also allows for individual skill development by providing equal player match-ups and equal playing time over the course of the season.
The cost is $50. Practices are 1hr/week on a weeknight evening. Games are on Saturdays. The program runs for 8 weeks starting in early January.

All-Stars for Jesus
All-Stars club is for preschool through grade 6. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:25 during the school year. From learning fun songs in the opening and closing times, to game time, to Bible lessons and Scripture memorization, it's a great way for your kids to spend their Wednesday evenings.
Youth Group
Our 7th - 12th grade students also meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:25. They meet all through the year. They sing worship songs together, have a devotion, pray together, and play some games as well.
Church Softball
During the summers, we host a Church Softball League at our ball field across from the church. There are about six teams from neighboring churches. The teams are co-ed, ages 14 and up. In order to play each week, the team members must be at a church service at their church at least once that week.
Vacation Bible School
Our Vacation Bible School runs for a week. This year it was on one of the last weeks in July and we did the "Gold Rush" VBS from Answers In Genesis. It was a really great week of teaching the kids through songs, drama, and Bible lessons. They also had a lot of fun with the games, snacks and crafts.
Wild Game Dinner
Our Wild Game Dinner is free and open to the public and is usually in early December. It is a fun-filled evening of great food, cool door prizes, and a presentation by a guest speaker. This past year Buddy Davis (author, musician, dinosaur sculptor, and all-around outdoorsman) spoke about “The Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure - Hunting Big Game.” The end of the program included a mini-concert.
