Pastor Brian Dempsey
Brian was saved at a young age and accepted God’s call to full time ministry while in Junior High School. While working at Northland Camp in Dunbar, WI, he met his wife and best friend Karen. After studying Missions and Bible at Northland Baptist Bible College, Brian and Karen moved to Lansdale, PA, where they both attended Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, Brian graduating with a Master of Divinity, and Karen with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. Brian has also begun work towards a Master of Theology degree. During his years in seminary, Brian was mentored under the ministry of Calvary Baptist Church in Pottstown, PA, where he served under Pastor Jim Spears.
In July of 2011, Brian accepted the call of Washington Baptist Church to be their senior pastor and moved his family to rural southeastern Indiana. Brian and Karen have one little boy, Ian, and are passionate about reaching families and individuals with the life changing power of God’s Word. Brian’s desire is to preach the Word of God faithfully and accurately, and see a healthy and vibrant body of believers here at Washington Baptist Church!
